Among the historic families of the region stands the Petropoulakis family, with a presence dating back to the 17th century.
Settled in Rachi, near Gytheio, the family built stone towers—serving not only as residences but also as fortifications, symbols of strength, organization, and protection during challenging times.
Alongside this legacy, olive cultivation has always been a cornerstone of the family’s livelihood and development. Their journey reflects the very essence of Mani: authentic, resilient, and deeply connected to the land and its traditions.

Our olive groves are cultivated using a natural and balanced approach that supports soil fertility and ecosystem sustainability. All elements within the grove function in a natural cycle, where vegetation and organic matter return to the soil, improving its structure and fertility.
Pruning is carried out with expertise and experience, tailored to the needs of each tree. Proper shaping allows light and air to penetrate the canopy, enhancing the health and productivity of the trees.
Plant protection is based on preventive practices and continuous monitoring of the olive groves. Interventions are applied only when necessary, ensuring fruit quality while respecting the environment.
Harvesting takes place at an early stage of ripening, when olives are rich in polyphenols and intense aromas. Gentle harvesting methods protect both the fruit and the tree.
The olive oil is extracted immediately after harvesting at low temperatures, preserving its freshness, natural aromas, polyphenols, and nutritional value.
The fresh olive oil is naturally clarified through a settling process lasting approximately two months, without filtration. This method preserves its flavor, aroma, and valuable nutrients before bottling.
